Ralph Downey Memorial Classic 2014
The Virginia Rush Soccer Club and Adidas remain committed to providing the best season ending tournament possible for both Premier and Classic level competition. The 2014 Ralph Downey Memorial Classic is bringing together competition locally and out of state while providing excellent referees, organization and fields. The 2014 Ralph Downey Memorial Classic is the perfect way to end your spring season, and carry your team into their summer break. Competition levels: The tournament will have both Premier and Classic flights. Flight placement is at the descretion of the tournament committee. The Memorial Day Classic offers small-sided competition in age groups U9 - U12. U9 - U10 format will be 7v7 and U11-U12 format will be 8v8. With now two Sportexe synthetic turf fields with Musco "low impact" game lights, the fields allow play in inclement weather for those "must play" games! The Hampton Roads Soccer Complex also contains 21 quality soccer fields, consisting of 7 small-sided fields and 12 full size Tifway Bermuda grass fields.
