Adidas Bernie Ward Labor Day Shootout
The29th Annual Adidas Bernie Ward Labor Day Shootout will take place on August 31st,September 1st & 2nd (Labor Day Weekend) at Tunxis Mead & the new fields at FSA in Farmington. The former Farmington Bank Shootout has a new sponsor in Adidas and has been dedicated to Bernie Ward who recently passed away and had been our tournament director since 2002.Since it's start twenty nine years ago, this event has grown from 20 teams to more than 110 teams in 2012 with over 2,000 players between the ages of 8 and 14. The tournament has girls and boys participating including U8 through U14 age groups. Adidas ranks the Shootout the #1 Soccer Tournament in Connecticut.
