CYSA Spring Fever Cup, May 18th SATURDAY - U8, U9, & U10 Boys & Girls
The California Youth Soccer Association District 2 (CYSA) presents the 2013 Spring Fever Cup!
Hosted by the Morgan Hill Youth Sports Alliance (MHYSA), applications are now being accepted for Boys and Girls teams from Under 8 to Under 10 age brackets to be held at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center on Saturday, May 18th. We expect this event to sell out.
Spring Fever is a great way for younger teams to prepare and compete under tournament conditions - each team will enjoy three 8v8 games each on a single Saturday of Spring Fever! Check out the brand new 7x21 goals!
OUR FOCUS IS ON FUN AND THE JOY OF SOCCER.
In addition to the 8v8 Tournament games, there will also be a skills challenge, expanding on our success last year. Please see current skills list at bottom.
We want the kids to see the best of why we call this the “beautiful sport.” The games will be exciting, but low key to ensure a good time by all and a we hope to create a wonderful opportunity to see how your teams and players are developing.
This one day event will be a very large gathering of our younger soccer players, and there will be lots to do! We have reserved plenty of room on the grass fields for parents and teams to bring their pop up tents and to picnic on site. We will have ample parking and plenty of drinks and food, or take the convenient shuttle to Morgan Hill’s great downtown. We have also booked and have set aside the best rooms at the best rates guaranteed for those wishing to stay overnight.
Price per team is $250. and includes t-shirts, pins and three games each. Each team is allowed up to 4 guest players.
On May 5th the rate will go to $300
There will be great vendors like Soccer Loco for Soccer Equipment, Java2You for the best coffee in town, El Amigos for their famous Mexican dishes, and the Goal Post will be serving Frito Hat Tricks and Dutchman's Pizza. Plus BBQ and many others! Also check out our onsite kids rides, frolic in the jump houses, taste yummy ice cream, browse the soccer Jewelry, sample Italian Licorice, and take a short hot air balloon ride (weather permitting).
